A
BotBr earns Chipist points for involving him/her/themselves in BotB's ever-growing chiptune community. A BotBr's
Class will become Chipist when they have more Chipist points than any other point class upon
levelling up.
A Chipist is represented with the following icon:
Because the majority of
formats offered on BotB give Chipist points, it is very commonplace to see a high-level Chipist on BotB.
Earning Points
• Five (5) points are awarded for submitting an entry to any chiptune format of a major battle (e.g.
Winter Chip,
Summer Chip) or a
XHB.
• Several points are awarded according to how well the submission scored, and how many BotBrs participated in the same battle.
• One (1) point is awarded for each subsequent listen/donload of a BotBr's chip submission.
Losing Points
• Five (5) points are deducted for resubmitting an entry to a chiptune format before the submission period of a major battle or
XHB ends.
